If your work is accepted by Simply Pets Traditional, you turn your manuscript over to us, and we take care of everything—editing, cover design, interior layout, ISBN assignment, copyright, printing, marketing, and distribution. The company determines the formats to publish, depending on the kind of book. Many books will be published in trade paperback, ebook, and audio; others will also be produced in hardcover.
We encourage you to promote your work through social media and other methods, but all sales links must direct to Simply Pets Lifestyle. You may purchase copies of the book at a discount to sell at booksignings, speaking engagements, and other events, but Simply Pets Books Traditional handles all other online and offline sales.
You are paid royalties semi-annually on all sales. Royalty rates vary depending on the project, but typical rates, based on list price, are 10% for hardcover books, 7.5% for trade paperback books, 35% for ebooks, and 7.5% for audio.
